Poster Design

This section showcases a curated selection of my poster design work, each project inspired by a unique blend of historical influences, artistic movements, and cultural themes. From reinterpreting iconic graphic design movements to celebrating the opulent world of haute couture, these posters explore the versatility and expressive power of graphic design.

The collection includes homages to movements such as Constructivism, Swiss Style, and Dada, where each poster is crafted to embody the visual language and philosophical essence of its respective style. In contrast, other posters highlight contemporary cultural icons, such as Guo Pei’s couture creations, translating the intricacies of high fashion into bold, striking visuals

Through this body of work, I demonstrate my ability to analyze and adapt complex aesthetics, utilizing typography, composition, and color to communicate diverse narratives. Whether drawing on historical styles or modern inspirations, each poster reflects my commitment to detail and my passion for creating designs that resonate with viewers on both an intellectual and emotional level..

DESIGN REMIX

This project, is a series of posters that reinterpret six influential graphic design movements to create a cohesive visual experience. Each poster is inspired by a different design movement — Constructivism, Swiss Style, Grunge, Dada, Bauhaus, and Surrealism — and reimagines these styles through a contemporary lens for a fictional lecture series at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). This series serves as both an exploration and homage to these transformative design movements, celebrating their legacy and continuing impact on modern design/.

Dada – Inspired by Hannah Höch

Known for its anti-art stance and chaotic compositions, the Dada poster takes inspiration from Hannah Höch’s photomontage techniques.

The design embraces dissonance, juxtaposing images and text in a way that challenges traditional norms, mirroring Dada’s spirit of protest and irony.

Futurism – Inspired by Filippo Marinetti

The Futurism poster takes inspiration from Filippo Marinetti, one of the founders of the Futurist movement.

This poster uses bold typography and unconventional layouts to evoke a sense of motion and progress, embodying the Futurist fascination with modernity and industrial development.

Art Nouveau – Inspired by Ethel Reed

Inspired by Ethel Reed, a prominent figure in the Art Nouveau movement, this poster showcases the movement's signature organic lines and decorative elements.

Art Nouveau often features floral motifs and flowing forms, drawing from nature to create a sense of elegance and beauty.

Grunge – Inspired by Art Chantry

The Grunge movement, characterized by its raw, DIY aesthetics, is captured in this poster. Drawing on Art Chantry’s influence, the design uses distressed textures, collage elements, and a rebellious, anti-establishment feel.

This poster reflects the unrefined aesthetic that defined Grunge’s impact on 1980s and 90s alternative culture.

Constructivism – Inspired by Gustav Klutsis

The Constructivist poster pays tribute to Gustav Klutsis, a pioneer of the movement. By using bold geometric shapes, photomontage, and dynamic layouts, the design captures the social and political fervor of early 20th-century Russia.

This style emphasizes functionality and industrial aesthetics, reflecting Constructivism’s call for socially relevant art.

Swiss Style – Inspired by Josef Müller-Brockmann

The Swiss Style movement is characterized by its emphasis on clarity, order, and readability, often using grid-based layouts and sans-serif typography.

The poster incorporates a minimalist color palette and clean lines, embodying the Swiss Style's commitment to functional design and effective communication.
