Heartbeat of Light
This project nspired by the works of James Turrell. "Heartbeat of Light" is an immersive project designed to explore the transformative power of light and space. This project combines digital, physical, and environmental components to create an interactive art experience that engages viewers through multiple senses. The project includes physical project (ticket and poster design), digital project (mobile app design) and environmental Installation.
"Heartbeat of Light" emphasizes the connection between light, perception, and emotional response, inviting participants to lose themselves in a serene and introspective atmosphere. This project showcases my ability to blend graphic design with environmental and interactive elements, creating a holistic experience that resonates with viewers on both a visual and emotional level.
"Heartbeat of Light" is an interactive environmental installation inspired by James Turrell's exploration of light and space. This compact, street-style kiosk invites visitors to experience a meditative journey through light and sound. The design features a perforated rooftop, allowing natural light to filter through in homage to Turrell’s iconic skyspaces, encouraging visitors to look up and connect with the vastness above.
Inside the kiosk, an interactive device syncs with the user’s heartbeat, creating a responsive atmosphere where light patterns shift and flow in real time with their pulse. This integration of technology with physical space offers a unique sensory experience, as the dynamic interplay of light and shadow fosters a sense of connection between the user’s inner rhythm and the surrounding environment. The project aims to remind people of the beauty of introspection and the power of human connection through art.
PHYSICAL PROJECT
These physical elements introduce the experience and provide a visual preview of the themes explored within the installation. The design draws on Turrell’s use of minimalistic and ethereal light compositions, creating a sense of anticipation and inviting audiences into a journey of sensory exploration.
DIGITAL PROJECT
The app enhances the interactive experience by allowing users to personalize their journey through the installation. Features include guided tours, real-time light adjustments, and augmented reality elements that align with the themes of perception and immersion inspired by Turrell.
